Tour to Mein Ma Hla Kyun Wildlife Sanctuary
Mein Ma Hla Wildlife Sanctuary, located on the island in the Irrawaddy river delta, is a protected area in Myanmar and an ASEAN Heritage Park.
The island covered with mangrove forests and surrounding waters are home to dozens of species of resident and migratory birds, fish, and reptiles. But the "main" animal of the area that attracts visitors is saltwater crocodile. In the Sanctuary you could see this biggest reptile on Earth in its natural habitat. If you are lucky, you could also spot the rare Irrawaddy river dolphins.
Sailing peacefully in the delta, under the guidance of the experienced wildlife ranger, you will discover this unique ecosystem in different times of the day, including night crocodiles spotting, and will depart back home with life-long lasting memories.
